Fix a rebuild error
A feature marked red failed to rebuild — read its message, fix the input, or roll back to isolate it.
A red feature in the tree failed to rebuild; everything after it may be affected.
Steps
- Read the message — hover the feature or open its form: the error names the cause (a missing face, a radius too large, an open profile…).
- Double-click the feature and fix the input it names. The part rebuilds when you confirm.
- Can’t see the cause? Drag the rollback bar just above the failing feature — the model shows the state it was built on.
- A reference to deleted geometry (“dangling”) usually means an earlier feature changed — re-pick the face/edge in the failing feature’s form.
Tips
- Errors never delete your data — the feature stays editable with its last inputs.
- The AI assistant can help: ask it to “check the design” and it lists failing features with causes.
